SALON POLICIES
NEW CLIENT POLICY
For all new clientele, a compulsory, complimentary consultation must be completed prior to making a colour booking. This is to ensure what we are booking you in for is safe & achievable.
DEPOSITS
As our appointments are highly requested, we do ask for a $50 (for cuts or styling) or $100 (for all colour services) deposit from all new clients to secure your first hair appointment. This payment can be made over the phone or via bank transfer & is to be paid at the time of your booking, or the appointment may be forfeited.
CANCELLATION POLICY
At Scissor & Stone, we value your time & respect your schedule, therefore we reserve your booking at a time convenient to you. We will always send an appointment reminder a week & 3-days prior to your scheduled appointment.
We do ask that you respond Y to confirm your appointment or contact us at this point should you need to reschedule. Failure to confirm an appointment may result in a forfeited appointment.
We require an absolute minimum of 48 hours for any cancellations/changes to appointments.
Any cancellations within this time frame will incur a $50 or $100 cancellation fee. Any cancellations on the same day as the scheduled appointment may incur a charge of $100 or 100% charge of the original service cost.
No shows will be charged 100% of the services booked.
Should we need to imply our cancellation policy in any way, payment will be required before booking any future appointments. Should a client have a card saved on file this will be automatically charged. Should you have future appointments booked, Scissor & Stone reserves the right to cancel these appointments if outstanding charges are not paid.
CHANGE OF MIND POLICY
We require an absolute minimum of 48 hours for any changes within this time frame will incur a fee to cover for time lost to our team.
Any changes on the same day as the appointment will incur a charge of $100 or will be charged the original service cost.
PLUS ONE POLICY
Due to our growing team & on-on-one style servicing, we will be asking that all clients attend their appointments solo.
Whilst we have loved meeting your little ones, we respectfully ask that you find alternative care for them on the day of your appointment with the exception of new borns (under 6 months) who we know may need to stay with you during this time.
We also ask that other family members, friends & partners do not join you during your appointments as our seats are extremely limited & reserved for clients only.
Due to this policy Scissor & Stone is no longer able to service children under the age of 12 or those that are unable to be left without a partner or guardian.
ADJUSTMENT POLICY
Here at Scissor & Stone, our goal is to help you achieve your dream hair.
If under any circumstance you are not happy with your hair we welcome all adjustments within a one week period of your appointment.
